Job summary

1ST Summit Bank is seeking a dedicated janitorial worker to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces at our Johnstown location. This role involves dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping, and window cleaning across offices and common areas.

Responsibilities include restroom sanitation, waste management, supply replenishment, and periodic deep cleaning of high-traffic spaces. The candidate should be reliable, organized, and discreet, with a high school diploma or equivalent and prior cleaning

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all client areas, floors, surfaces, fixtures, and windows.
• Restroom maintenance including cleaning, restocking supplies, and sanitation.
• Manage waste and ensure proper disposal and recycling.
• Maintain neat, presentable communal areas and offices.
• Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to management.
• Adhere to confidentiality and workplace policies.

Description

• Cleaning & Sanitation:Dust, polish, vacuum, sweep, mop all floors, surfaces, fixtures, and windows.
• Restroom Maintenance:Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, restocking toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
• Waste Management:Empty all waste bins and replace liners.
• Ensure all shredded items are properly discarded.
• Supply Management:Monitor and replenishing cleaning materials and essential supplies (e.g., hand sanitizers, paper goods).
• Area Presentation:Ensure communal areas, offices, and workstations are neat, welcoming, and presentable.
• Deep Cleaning:Perform periodic deep cleaning of high-traffic areas.
• Reporting:Alert management to maintenance issues, broken fixtures, or safety hazards.
• Maintain confidentiality.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITY:

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• Ability to concentrate and perform responsibilities by maintaining a constant state of focus and mental alertness.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to communicate in person, through email or via telephone with tenants and staff members.
• Ability to sit or stand for an extended period.
