Job summary

Crothall Healthcare is hiring for part-time HOUSEKEEPER positions at MUSC Charleston, located at 169 Ashley Avenue, Charleston, SC. Ideal candidates will provide exceptional customer service and ensure cleanliness throughout the facility.

Responsibilities include cleaning various surfaces and addressing guest requests. Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory. The pay range is between $15.00 and $16.50 per hour, with various shift options.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to perform essential functions of the position without unreasonable accommodation.
• Certain positions may require Florida Level 2 background screening.

• Cleans floors and carpets, including vacuuming and scrubbing.

Position Summary

We are hiring immediately for part‑time HOUSEKEEPER positions at MUSC Charleston – 169 Ashley Avenue, Charleston, SC 29425. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part‑time schedules; days and hours may vary. First and Second shift; Weekends only. More details upon interview.

Pay Range: $15.00–$16.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service to customers by providing one‑on‑one attention to detail.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops and polishes floors.
• Vacuums carpets, rugs and draperies.
• Shampoos carpets, rugs and upholstery.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings.
• Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empties and cleans trash containers.
• Disposes of trash in a sanitary manner.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers.
• Wipes down glass surfaces.
• Makes up beds and changes linens as required.
• Realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout.
• Responds to guest queries and requests.
• Responds to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses.
• Contributes to team efforts; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow associates and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
