Job summary

Global Connections to Employment, Inc. is seeking a Maid Service Attendant for Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson in Anchorage, AK. The role focuses on safely performing housekeeping duties and delivering quality service in accordance with base standards.

Training is provided to learn all aspects of the job as it relates to this contract. Responsibilities include following instructions, ensuring customer and government personnel satisfaction, and adhering to screening and security requirements.

The Maid Service Attendant is responsible for safely performing housekeeping duties as assigned by management. Quality service is expected to be provided to customers at all times. Knowledge and willingness to learn all aspects of the job as it pertains to this position. Work is expected to be performed to Air Force Lodging Standards.

*Work Location is Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson Airforce Base, Anchorage, AK*

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Compensation:

The hourly rate will be $25.08.

Physical Requirements:

May travel to and from various locations and buildings throughout the year and in various weather conditions. Most work will take place indoors. May work with cleaning chemicals. Will be required to follow the Emergency Operations Work Assignment per customer requirements. Schedules are subject to change. May require working early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, and/or evening hours as well as weekends and holidays.

While performing this job's duties, the team member is regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, sit (to drive), and lift up to 40 pounds. Will occasionally be required to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
