Job summary

Coastaway Vacations in Ocean Isle Beach, NC, is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper to ensure rental homes are sparkling and guest-ready. You will manage one or two properties, following a Breezeway checklist to meet our high cleanliness and design standards.

The role is Saturdays 10 am–3 pm (Memorial Day through Labor Day) with potential minor schedule adjustments; compensation is piece-rate per home ($80–$140) with orientation and support from a manager.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean the entire unit, including floors and all surfaces.

• Work consistently through the housekeeping cleaning checklist.
• Ensure outdoor areas are clean and tidy.
• Any other tasks as needed.

The perfect summer job does exist!

In this role as Housekeeper, you will be assigned one or two rental homes, depending on their size, to ensure that they are spick and span and ready in time before the next guest's check-in.

To do this effectively, the app we’ll require you to use is called Breezeway, which will provide you with a detailed checklist to help you make sure nothing is overlooked and the home looks like the previous guests were never there. The app will also include reference pictures so that you can be sure that each vacation rental meets our high standards of cleanliness and design every time.

Never used an app like this before?

No worries. Following the instructions in the tutorial video during your orientation will help you get the hang of it. Your manager will also be available to answer any questions you may have throughout the process.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Wage:We pay by a system called "piece rate." That means we pay per home, not per hour. Ranges from $80 - $140 based on size of property.
