Job summary

Avamere, a provider of long-term care services, seeks a Housekeeper for Avamere at Hillsboro. This PRN on-call role covers daytime shifts at 2000 SE 30th Avenue, Hillsboro OR 97123.

The Housekeeper will perform cleaning and sanitation tasks in resident rooms and common areas, following infection control guidelines and daily work assignments. Requires practical cleaning experience and ability to work with staff and residents.

Qualifications

• Experience with cleaning methods and sanitation.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to communicate with staff and follow instructions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned.
• Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, room surfaces and fixtures daily as instructed.
• Clean floors, windows, walls, bathrooms and common areas to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Coordinate routine isolation procedures with care staff when needed and ensure proper infection control.
