Webster at Rye in Rye, NH is looking for a reliable, flexible Full‑Time Housekeeper to join our caring team. You will clean resident areas, maintain supplies, and support a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff.

The ideal candidate is hard‑working, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently or with a team. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required; benefits include health coverage, paid time off, and a mission‑driven workplace.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service all areas of the community, including rooms, apartments, offices, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas.
• Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize floors, surfaces, and fixtures.
• Dispose of trash daily and maintain neat carts and supply areas.
• Follow safety procedures, SDS, and fire safety protocols.
• Communicate challenges or ideas to Supervisor or Director.
• Attend trainings and in-services as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services all areas and surfaces of the community including rooms, apartments, offices, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas.
• Cleaning, scrubbing, wet and dry mopping, vacuuming and dusting of floors, windows, radiators, equipment, toilets, sinks, mirrors, doors, appliances, walls, tile areas, and all vertical and horizontal surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Empties trash baskets and disposes of trash in the dumpster on a daily basis.
• Use cleaning chemicals and compounds in a safe manner in which they were designed to be used.
• Keep cart and supply caddy neat and clean at all times.
• Follow safety data sheets (SDS), Hazard Communication Standards, and Right-to-know law.
• Must practice and assume responsibility for self-safety and safety of your immediate work environment, including other staff and residents.
• Ability to follow Fire Safety Drills and be familiar with fire and evacuation procedures for the department, and self in own work area.
• Communicate to Supervisor and/or Director any challenges, ideas or suggestions.
• Attend community sponsored in-services and trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.
