Cedarbrook Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeper/Laundry Aide to contribute to our residents’ comfort and well-being. You will perform cleaning duties across apartments, common areas, and offices, and manage laundry operations to keep linens clean and organized.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and prior housekeeping experience is preferred. Weekend work is required as part of the schedule.

Mansioni

• Performs cleaning duties per schedule in apartments, common areas, lounges and offices.
• Collect, launder, fold, sort and distribute clean laundry.
• Keep laundry and linen storage rooms clean and organized.
• Sweep and mop all floors; dust and vacuum; rotate runners in hallways.
• Collect and dispose of trash per guidelines.
• Clean and sanitize fixtures; stock dispensers.
• Dust and clean furniture; polish surfaces and windowsills.
• Scrub bath/shower tiles and window frames.
• Maintain equipment and supplies in orderly condition.
• Report repairs to Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Report supply needs for replenishment.
• Must work every other weekend.

Housekeeper/Laundry Aide

At Cedarbrook Senior Living, we work hard every day to find out what “Celebrating Life Every Day!” means to our residents and their families, then we help them achieve these goals. We are seeking a Housekeepers/Laundry Aide for our community.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties according to schedule (daily, weekly, monthly) in assigned areas such as apartment homes, common areas, lounges and offices.


• Collect soiled linens. Launder linens. Fold, sort, and distribute clean laundry.


• Keep laundry and linen storage rooms clean and organized.


• Sweep, dust, dust mops, and wet mops all floors and stairways; spot cleans and vacuums floors, rugs, carpets and runners. Rotates runners in hallways and entryways.


• Collects trash and places in designated pick-up areas.


• Cleans, sanitizes, and polishes both lavatory, shower and sink fixtures and facilities; stocks dispensers as necessary.


• Dust, wash, sponge mops, sanitizes and hand shampoos furniture; dust desk and floor lamps, cleans and polishes glass surfaces, woodwork, walls, and windowsills.


• Scrubs bath and shower room tiles, wood work, window frames and sills.


• Maintains equipment and materials needed to perform work in a clean and orderly condition.


• Reports any needed repairs to the Housekeeping Supervisor.


• Reports supply and equipment needs to Housekeeping Supervisor for replenishing.


• Must work every other weekend
