Dublin Post Acute is seeking a dependable Housekeeper / Laundry Aide to join our Environmental Services team in Dublin, Ohio. The role focuses on keeping resident areas clean, safe, and comfortable while supporting laundry needs and facility operations.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work independently, and capable of coordinating with staff to maintain a welcoming environment for residents, families, and visitors.

Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping, laundry, healthcare, or long-term care experience preferred.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, offices, bathrooms, and other facility areas.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces as needed.
  • Collect and properly dispose of trash and waste.
  • Clean and maintain floors and other surfaces according to facility standards.
  • Assist with cleaning resident rooms following room changes, discharges, and admissions.
  • Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute facility laundry and resident clothing.
  • Properly label and organize resident clothing and personal items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
  • Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely.
  • Follow infection-control and sanitation procedures.
  • Properly use cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Report maintenance, safety, or environmental concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
