Job summary

Kalaloch Lodge in Olympic National Park is hiring a seasonal Housekeeper to ensure cleanliness of the facility and enhance the guest experience. Pay starts at $18.52 per hour with a full benefits package and weekly pay.

The role includes cleaning public areas and guest rooms, assisting guests as needed, and reporting maintenance issues. This position offers shared housing options nearby, opportunities for internal mobility, and a culture of high standards within Delaware North.

Qualifications

• Limited to no experience required; previous commercial cleaning or guest service experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures.
• Ability to work quickly under pressure and follow instructions.
• Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize public areas, rooms, and restrooms; empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal area; replenish supplies.
• Conduct walk-around of assigned areas to ensure housekeeping standards; keep linen rooms and work areas neat and organized.
• Interact with and assist guests while cleaning guest and meeting rooms.
• Report maintenance repair problems to supervisor.
• Ensure all lost and found items are turned in and logged daily.

What will you do?

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying; use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing/washing duties
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Visual acuity is sufficient to inspect the cleanliness of rooms and surfaces
