Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a vigilant Environmental Services worker to join its per diem rotating shift team in Philadelphia. You will maintain cleanliness of patient and non-patient areas, restrooms, and common spaces following facility policies to ensure a safe, sanitary hospital environment.

Experience in healthcare settings is preferred, with a high school diploma or equivalent; a combination of education and experience may be considered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• 1 year experience in a recent housekeeping or environmental services role required
• 1 year experience in floor maintenance utilizing commercial equipment preferred
• 1 year experience working in a health care environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in patient and non-patient units, patient rooms, restrooms and common areas.
• Follow established policies to ensure a safe and hygienic healthcare environment.

This position keeps the facility in a clean and sanitary condition following established policies and procedures. With a particular emphasis on patient and non-patient units, cleans and maintains patient rooms, restrooms and common areas within the Healthcare facilities. Perform various janitorial/environmental services necessary in maintaining a clean and safe environment.
