Job summary

Infor is seeking a Housekeeper I for the 3pm to 11:30pm shift. The role involves maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, staff and visitors at our Marshall facility.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting rooms and corridors, making beds with clean linens, dusting, restocking supplies, and proper waste disposal. Must be 18+ with minimal prior housekeeping experience preferred and good teamwork. Potential exposure to infectious diseases.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum 1 year of related housekeeping experience preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop hard surface floors and scrub as needed.
• Vacuum carpeted areas.
• Clean and disinfect patient, exam and staff areas; make beds with clean linens.
• Clean and disinfect rooms and corridors; maintain clean staff areas.
• Dust surfaces and vents as required.
• Restock dispensers with towels, toilet paper, soap and hand sanitizer.
• Remove trash, soiled linen and regulated waste; transport appropriately.

Job Summary: Maintains a clean and safe environment for all patients, staff and visitors.

Essential Functions:

• Consistently uses an outward mindset and puts forth exemplary effort in accomplishing his/her goals and objectives in a manner that helps others to achieve their goals and objectives.
• Sweeps& mops/scrubs, hard surface floors.
• Vacuums carpeted floor surfaces.
• Cleans & disinfects patient & exam rooms & makes up patient beds with clean linens.
• Cleans & disinfects staff work areas, offices, and hallway corridors.
• Dusts horizontal surfaces and wall and ceiling vents as required.
• Stocks dispensers with paper towel, toilet paper, hand soap, & hand sanitizer as required.
• Removes trash, soiled linen, & regulated waste and transports to appropriate area.

Minimum Qualifications: 18 Years of age.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: One (1) year of related experience preferred. Good communication, teamwork skills preferred.

Working Conditions: Potentially exposed to infectious diseases.

Physical Requirements: Constantly stand, walk, reach, push/pull. Frequently handle/grasp/feel, bend/twist, stoop/kneel/crouch, lift/carry 25 to 49 lbs. Occasionally lift/carry 50+ lbs.
