Midas Hospitality is seeking a dependable Housekeeper / Room Attendant to join our team in Saint Charles, MO. You will ensure guest rooms and hotel areas are clean, organized, and maintained to brand standards, providing a welcoming experience for every guest.

The role requires a positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina to lift up to 40 pounds and willingness to learn are essential.

Key Responsibilities

As a Housekeeper / Room Attendant, you will help maintain the cleanliness, comfort, and presentation of guest rooms and assigned hotel areas.

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel and brand standards, including making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing towels and guest amenities.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and ensure supplies, linens, and cleaning products are properly stocked and organized.
• Remove trash and recyclables from guest rooms, hallways, and designated areas.
• Provide friendly and professional assistance to guests and respond to requests in a timely manner.
• Report guest concerns or service issues to leadership to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Notify maintenance staff of any equipment issues, damage, or repair needs within guest rooms or public spaces.
• Follow lost and found procedures and maintain guest privacy and security.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions, suspicious activity, or potential hazards.
• Use cleaning supplies and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow all hotel safety policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Support additional housekeeping duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and strong commitment to guest service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with guests and coworkers.
• Willingness to learn and consistently maintain hotel and brand standards.
• Preferred: Previous hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday. Candidates should be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Work is primarily performed indoors within a hotel environment but may occasionally require movement throughout the property
