Job summary

Oakland Heights Senior Living is seeking a part-time housekeeper to maintain clean and comfortable living environments for residents. You will perform daily cleaning tasks, manage laundry, and ensure supplies are stocked while following safety protocols. The role requires reliable attendance and a positive, service-oriented approach.

Open availability, including weekends, is required. The position offers a competitive starting wage and benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas and restrooms.

Job description

We’re looking for Part‑time Housekeepers to join the team!

Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all areas to the standard cleanliness within time limits
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Create daily job lists and record all serviced rooms
• Maintain equipment in good condition
• Report on any shortages, damages or security issues
• Handle reasonable guests’ complaints/requests and inform others when required
• Check stocking levels of all consumables
• Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws
• Able to maintain work pace appropriate to given workload.
• Perform activities on schedule while maintaining regular attendance and punctuality.
• Operate commercial washer and dryer and other cleaning equipment normally associated with position.
• Stock laundry and cleaning cart with supplies.
• Maintain clean laundry room and keep chemicals in an orderly fashion.
• Fold lines and resident clothing articles.
• Change resident bedding.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize common areas, common restrooms, and residents' rooms and bathrooms.
