Job summary

Meridian at Stone Creek in Milton, WA is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. You will clean and tidy resident areas, maintain laundry, stock supplies, and support residents with a courteous, service-focused approach.

The role requires reliability, ability to work independently, and strong attention to detail. Day shift schedule, with full-time hours, in a welcoming retirement community. We conduct background and drug screenings and are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or janitorial work.
• Ability to work independently and stay motivated.

• Strong time-management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all areas to the standard cleanliness within time limits
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Create daily job lists and record all serviced rooms
• Maintain equipment in good condition
• Report on any shortages, damages or security issues
• Handle reasonable guests complaints/requests and inform others when required
• Check stocking levels of all consumables
• Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws
• Able to maintain work pace appropriate to given work load.
• Perform activities on schedule while maintaining regular attendance and punctuality.
• Operate commercial washer and dryer and other cleaning equipment normally associated with position.
• Stock laundry and cleaning cart with supplies.
• Maintain clean laundry room and keep chemicals in an orderly fashion.
• Fold lines and resident clothing articles.
• Change resident bedding.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize common areas, common restrooms, and residents' rooms and bathrooms.
