Job summary

PrismHR Hire is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to join our Waikiki team. No experience? No problem—training is available for the right candidate with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

You will work full-time, cleaning and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees and guests. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds, with morning/evening shifts and some holidays possible.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience in housekeeping is a plus but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and fixtures.
• Restock supplies in restrooms.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas (lobbies, hallways, break rooms).
• Disinfect furniture and frequently touched surfaces.
• Report maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment.
• Work with team to provide high-quality service.
• Assist with special cleaning projects.

What You'll Do

As a Housekeeper, you'll help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees, guests, and visitors by:

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning floors and surfaces
• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures
• Restocking restroom supplies such as soap, paper products, and hand sanitizer
• Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste properly
• Maintaining the cleanliness of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, break rooms, and meeting spaces
• Cleaning and disinfecting furniture, equipment, and frequently touched surfaces
• Reporting maintenance or repair needs to your supervisor
• Safely operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies
• Working with fellow team members to provide consistent, high-quality service
• Assisting with special cleaning projects as needed

What We're Looking For

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is a plus, but not required
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds
• Able to climb stairs multiple times throughout the day
• Comfortable standing and walking for up to 8 hours per shift
• Flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
