Job summary

Vivie in Minnesota is seeking a Housekeeper to keep resident spaces clean, safe, and welcoming. You’ll support the housing team, assist with move-ins and move-outs, and help maintain a comfortable environment for residents and families.

The role is hourly, non-exempt, with competitive pay ranging from $16 to $17.50 per hour plus benefits. Applicants should be able to work independently and as part of a team, follow safety procedures, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping or environmental services preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
• Proficient in English to communicate with residents and staff.
• Understanding of safety and infection control procedures.
• Physical capability to perform duties (lifting, bending, standing).
• Ability to pass state-mandated background check.

As a Housekeeper, You Will

• Maintain Clean and Comfortable Living Spaces - Ensure cleanliness in all areas, including resident rooms, common areas, and other support spaces. Coordinate housekeeping tasks with the housekeeping team, support resident move-ins and move-outs.
• Support Safety and Emergency Procedures - Adhere to infection control procedures to maintain a safe and sanitary environment. Respect residents' time, personal space, and belongings, recognizing your role as a guest in their home. Assist in resident evacuations during emergencies.
• Documentation - Document in accordance with regulations and established policies and procedures.
• Other Duties as Assigned - Attend in-service training, carry out special projects as identified. The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.

This Job Also Requires
