Job summary

Southern Illinois Healthcare is seeking an Environmental Services Lead to keep hospital areas clean and sanitary, including patient care zones and public spaces. You will lead daily assignments, train staff, round on areas, and ensure equipment is maintained and repairs reported.

The role backs up the Environmental Services Manager, performing lead duties to uphold high cleanliness standards across the facility.

Qualifications

• Cleaning and sanitation of hospital areas.
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and safety protocols.

• Cleans equipment and reports repairs.
• Collects and distributes soiled or clean linen.
• Lead: Serves as back up for Environmental Services Manager or Supervisor.
• Lead: Round on assigned areas.
• Lead: Instruct and train employees.
• Lead: Prepare daily assignments.
• Lead: Performs environmental services duties to maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly and sanitary condition.
