Job summary

AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Lafayette is seeking a Full Time Housekeeper for Day Shifts. The role involves keeping patient rooms and facility areas clean, stocking supplies, and preparing rooms for new admissions in a state-of-the-art hospital located in Lafayette, LA.

Candidate must be able to follow instructions, meet physical demands, communicate in English, and work well with others. The hospital offers a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to meet physical demands of loading and unloading.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Willing to learn standardized procedures in handling and rotating stock and re-stocking shelves.
• Ability to work with other people in courteous manner.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms and bathrooms daily including floors, furniture, sink, toilet, and shower.
• Stock paper products throughout the facility.
• Terminally clean patient room when patient is discharged, preparing room for a new admission.
• Clean other areas of the facility, including floors, offices, and daily as needed.

Candidate must maintain cleanliness of thefacility while ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations in conjunction withthe directives of the designated Housekeeping Supervisor.Perform all duties in the scope of housekeeping willingly and withina satisfactory time frame.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Clean patient rooms and bathrooms daily including floors, furniture, sink,toilet, and shower.
• Clean all other areas of thefacility, including floors, offices, and daily as needed.
• Stock paper products throughout the facility.
