Job summary

Flik, part of Compass Group USA, is hiring full-time and part-time housekeepers at Washington University St. Louis.

The position involves performing light cleaning duties across hotels and related establishments on site, with shifts from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and a fixed pay rate of $17.00 per hour. Prior hotel housekeeping experience is preferred.

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers.
• Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make beds and changes linens.
• Realign furniture and amenities per layout.
• Respond to guest queries and requests.
• Respond to housekeeping problems (spills, broken glass).
• Contribute to team and maintain professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Summary: Performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments, including hotels, restaurants and hospitals, in a clean and orderly manner. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
