We are hiring immediately for full-time and on-call Housekeeper positions.

Location: LCMC Lakeside Hospital - 4700 South I-10 Service Road, Metairie, LA 70001. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and on-call schedules with rotating hours and days. More details provided during interview.

Requirements: Previous customer service experience preferred. Willing to train!

Pay Range: $12.66 to $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary: Performs light cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness in establishments such as hospitals, hotels, and restaurants. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, vacuuming, and responding to guest requests.

Essential Duties:

1. Provide quality customer service with attention to detail.
2. Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
3. Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
4. Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
5. Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
6. Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
7. Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash sanitary manner.
8. Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
9. Wipe down glass surfaces.
10. Make beds and change linens as required.
11. Realign furniture and amenities according to layout.
12. Respond to guest queries and housekeeping requests, such as spills and broken glasses.
13. Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.
