Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for Ivy Park at Pleasanton, CA. You will clean resident apartments, public and common areas, and handle resident laundry in a courteous, resident-focused environment.

The role runs Sunday to Thursday, 7am–4pm with pay ranging from $17.80 to $18.80 per hour. Company benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and more as part of our senior living team.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Written and verbal communication with staff, physicians, residents and families.
• Criminal background check and health screening tests required.
• COVID-19 or other health safety protocols may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean all resident apartments, as directed.
• Clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning all resident apartments, public areas, common areas, and work areas and doing laundry for both the residents and the community in a friendly, courteous manner, in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, and values.

• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
