Job summary

The Waters Senior Living Management LLC is seeking a Housekeeper to keep common areas and resident apartments clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and staff at The Waters community in Pewaukee, WI.

Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, dining rooms, elevators, hallways, and laundry; coordinating with Environmental Services; submitting work orders and restocking supplies; striving for uncompromising cleanliness daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in a related position preferred but not required.
• Compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service, and elderly care
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public
• Ability to be detailed oriented

Responsibilities

• Cleans all common areas according to standards and practices including bathrooms, dining rooms, elevators, hallways, landings, stairs, railings, light fixtures, resident activity areas, and lobby
• Cleans all assigned resident apartments
• Works as a team with maintenance to take accountability for the building; monitor the look, smell, cleanliness, and maintenance of all spaces
• Submits maintenance work orders to the Environmental Services team as needed
• Notifies Environmental Services Manager when supplies are diminishing
• Maintains a clean, orderly laundry room and stores chemicals in accordance with product or supervisor instruction
• Other duties as assigned
