Job summary

The Bungalows at Jonesboro is seeking a Housekeeper to join their team. The Housekeeper will perform a broad range of housekeeping tasks across resident rooms and common areas, including cleaning, dusting, laundry, and stocking supplies.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience, with the ability to multitask and work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed cleaning worksheet/checklist for each room and common area.
• Mix cleaning solutions in proper containers according to specifications.
• Follow procedures for safe use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and fixtures.
• Clean floors and walls in resident rooms and common areas by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
• Steam clean or shampoo carpet.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment; move furniture as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Adjust heating, ventilation, and air conditioning filters as needed.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Remove debris from outdoor porches, parking areas, and dumpster area.
• Ensure bathrooms are stocked with toilet paper, towels, soap.
• Replace light bulbs throughout the community.
• Ensure suites with 2 residents are cleaned twice a week.
• Notify supervisor of major repairs or additions needed in building systems.
