Job summary

Valley Health is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Floor Crew for the Winchester Medical Center's third shift. This part-time role supports patient care areas, surgical zones, offices, and administrative suites with thorough cleaning and infection-control practices.

The successful candidate will have a High School diploma (preferred), prior institutional housekeeping experience, and the ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience in an institutional setting is preferred.
• Ability to read and write and follow oral and written instruction and established procedures.
• Must possess a positive attitude and display excellent customer interactions.
• Exemplary personal hygiene and appearance.

Responsibilities

• The housekeeper/floor crew performs a wide variety of cleaning tasks from housekeeping to floor care, including between case surgical cleaning.
• Provides housekeeping support to patient care area, surgical areas, physician areas, office and administrative suites.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment for staff, customers, visitors, and patients.
• Ensures comprehensive cleaning as prescribed by department and in accordance with regulatory practices and procedures.
• Maintains stock and supplies.
• Provides other support to the department as needed.
