Phoenix Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join The Phoenix At Union Hill team. The role involves a wide range of housekeeping tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, laundry, and restroom restocking.

The position requires flexibility to cover weekends and accommodate resident needs. Responsibilities include following cleaning checklists, handling cleaning solutions safely, and reporting maintenance issues.

Qualifications

• Infection control procedures understood and followed.
• Able to multi-task and manage stress.
• Understanding of the assisted living philosophy.
• Willing and able to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed cleaning worksheet for each room and common area.
• Prepare cleaning solutions per specifications and safety rules.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely to protect floors and fixtures.
• Clean community areas and resident rooms by sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming.
• Dust furniture and fixtures; move furniture as needed for cleaning.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass partitions with appropriate cleaning tools.
• Replace light bulbs and restock bathrooms and common areas as needed.
• Report major repairs or maintenance needs to supervisor.
