Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a housekeeping technician to maintain clean clinics, offices and common areas within the Carle organization. You will apply proper cleaning techniques and follow safety procedures for chemical handling and biohazard disposal, while keeping infection prevention and hand hygiene at the core of daily work.

This role requires attention to detail and the ability to support a patient- and staff-centered environment across our Urbana facilities.

Perform proper cleaning techniques and procedures when cleaning clinics, offices, and other common areas within the Carle organization. Demonstrates procedural knowledge of safe chemical handling and use, and disposal of biohazard materials. Performs all housekeeping duties with the special needs of our patients and staff in mind. Demonstrates knowledge of infection prevention techniques and proper hand hygiene. Successfully completes the Cert 1 training course.

Salary Range

The compensation range for this position is $15.45per hour - $25.03per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
