Allegro Living, LLC is seeking a part-time Housekeeper for Spring Arbor Senior Living in Midlothian, VA. The role focuses on cleaning vacant and occupied apartments, common areas, and supporting a welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, following the community cleaning schedule, and reporting issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, and a background check is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Familiar with safe operation of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, spray bottles, and safe use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Criminal Background Screening required.
• Drug Free Workplace policy applies to all associates.

Responsibilities

• Clean vacant apartments in preparation for move-in using Company Checklist and report issues to Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Clean occupied apartments, respite and guest apartments as scheduled using Company Checklist and report issues to Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Detail clean halls and other common areas as scheduled or when requested, and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Keep laundry rooms and housekeeping/linen areas clean and organized; clean lint traps and areas behind washer/dryer weekly.
• Perform other duties as assigned per the full job description.

Spring Arbor of Midlothian is looking for a hardworking, dependable, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team!

The primary responsibility of the Housekeeper is to clean vacant apartments in preparation for move-in as well as to clean occupied apartments on a weekly basis or as scheduled, follow the cleaning schedule outlined for the cleaning of the common areas of the Community, and assure that the highest degree of cleanliness is always maintained.

Areas of Responsibility

• Clean vacant apartments in preparation for move-in using Company Checklist. Report any problem areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Clean occupied apartments, respite and guest apartments as scheduled using Company Checklist. Report any problem areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Detail clean halls and other common areas as scheduled or when requested by the Housekeeping Supervisor. Keep inventory of cleaning supplies to ensure an adequate supply. Report items needed to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Keep laundry rooms and housekeeping/linen rooms clean and organized. Clean lint from dryer lint traps daily and clean area behind washer & dryer equipment weekly.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Should be familiar with safe operation of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, spray bottles, and with the safe use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year housekeeping experience preferred.
