Job summary

American House Senior Living Communities is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean and sanitary facilities and resident apartments. You will perform cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, laundry service where applicable, and restocking supplies to ensure a welcoming environment.

Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will help uphold regulatory compliance, assist with resident visits, and report maintenance needs to ensure a safe, comfortable living

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience in senior living or healthcare is a plus.
• Commitment to keeping environments clean and sanitary.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of resident apartments and common areas.
• Vacuum, mop, disinfect, dust, and tidy rooms as needed.
• Provide personal laundry service where applicable.
• Monitor restrooms for cleanliness and supplies throughout the day.
• Log and report maintenance needs or repairs to supervisor or Executive Director.
• Uphold regulatory compliance where applicable.
• Assist with transporting trash or waste to disposal area.
• Support residents with housekeeping-related needs as assigned by supervisor.

Housekeeper Position Summary:

Under the general direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring that the facility and resident apartments are maintained in a clean and sanitary manner.

Primary Responsibilities for Housekeeper:

• Ensure the highest quality of customer service is available for our residents.
• Engage in prospective resident visits.
• Cleans resident apartment, including but not limited to, vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting, dusting, emptying trash, making beds and linen service where applicable.
• Responsible for personal laundry service where applicable.
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of entire building.
• Monitor public restrooms throughout the day for cleanliness and adequate supplies.
• Maintain regulatory compliance where applicable.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Notes areas or articles in need of repair and reports to Assistant Director.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or Executive Director.
