Job summary

Kohler Co. invites applications for a casual part-time Housekeeper role in Kohler, WI.

You will maintain guest rooms and common areas following hotel standards, handle cleaning supplies safely, and support our hospitality team during weekends and weekdays. The role requires 1–2 years of housekeeping or hospitality experience, ability to stand most of the day and lift up to 50 pounds, and eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• 1-2 years of Housekeeping or Hospitality experience preferred
• Prior hotel/lodging experience is helpful, but not necessary
• Candidate must tolerate being on their feet for the majority of the day and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Following established cleaning standards, ensuring the proper chemical is used on each surface
• Maintaining the highest housekeeping standards established for The American Club, Inn on Woodlake and Riverbend
• Being responsible for proper use and care of cleaning tools assigned to you such as squeegees, sticky rollers etc.
• Being responsible for understanding assignment board, making a note of early arrivals, late departures, VIPs, special requests etc.
• Ensuring all stay over rooms must be cleaned to meet stay over requirements to include personalizing of room, and all checkout rooms must be cleaned to meet hotel standards

Location: Kohler, WI

Opportunity

Join our detail-oriented housekeeping team and help maintain the beauty and charm of our guest rooms and facilities.

• Following established cleaning standards, ensuring the proper chemical is used on each surface
• Maintaining the highest housekeeping standards established for The American Club, Inn on Woodlake and Riverbend
• Being responsible for proper use and care of cleaning tools assigned to you such as squeegees, sticky rollers etc.
• Being responsible for understanding assignment board, making a note of early arrivals, late departures, VIPs, special requests etc.
• Ensuring all stay over rooms must be cleaned to meet stay over requirements to include personalizing of room, and all checkout rooms must be cleaned to meet hotel standards

This is a casual part-time position working weekends and weekdays. Shifts vary between 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Skills/Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The hourly range for this position is $15.90 - $23.80. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location.
