Description of Work

Caswell Developmental Center is a residential campus located in Kinston, North Carolina, providing comprehensive services and supports to approximately 300 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, complex behavioral needs, and/or significant medical conditions whose clinical treatment requirements exceed the level of care available in community settings. The facility serves individuals across the Eastern region of the state.

The primary purpose of this position is to perform housekeeping duties within an assigned area of the facility in accordance with an established work schedule. Responsibilities encompass all aspects of housekeeping to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Management Preferences

• General knowledge of established cleaning procedures, techniques and special applications required in assigned areas.
• Must be able to work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to perform medium to heavy physical work.
• Ability to spend long periods of time reaching, bending, standing and walking.
• Management Preference: High School Diploma or Equivalent and a valid NC Driver's License.

Salary Range

$31,200.00 - $46,991.00

Work Hours: 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. with rotating weekends.

Location: Kinston, North Carolina.

Minimum Education and Experience

• Education and/or experience in housekeeping work that is directly related to the job.
