Job summary

Continental Manor in Blanchester, OH is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness throughout our nursing home facility, ensuring a sanitary and comfortable environment for residents and staff.

You will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, follow schedules and safety guidelines, replenish supplies, and collaborate with other departments. A High School Diploma and prior housekeeping experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other facility spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust designated areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
• Follow cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards residents, staff, and visitors.
• Collaborate with other departments as needed to support overall facility operations.
