Job summary

Crothall Healthcare in Allen, TX is hiring for a part-time HOUSEKEEPER - AMBULATORY SERVICES. The role supports environmental services in ambulatory healthcare facilities, with evening shifts and about 10 hours weekly.

• We are hiring immediately for part time HOUSEKEEPER - AMBULATORY SERVICES positions.
• Location: Children's Health System of TX, Primary Care - 1111 Raintree Circle, Suite 240, Allen, TX 75013. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Part time schedule; Monday through Friday, evening shifts starting at 6:00 pm or later. Approximately 2 hours per day, 10 hours per week. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior environmental serives housekeeping experience in a healthcare facility is preferred, not required - we will train for the position! This is a physically active role that requires prolonged standing and walking, frequent bending and reaching, and the ability to push, pull, and move equipment and supplies while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Attendance reliability is key to success in this role.

Job Summary

Performs specialized cleaning duties with the intent of disinfecting ambulatory healthcare facilities including restrooms, patient areas, exam rooms, procedure rooms, and specialty areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Disinfects surfaces with provided chemicals.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings, vents, window sills, and ledges.
• Cleans reception glass and entrance windows.
• Moves chairs/stools, waste/linen/biohazardous bins, small equipment on wheels, scales, and other items for proper cleaning. Realigns items according to recommended layout.
• Cleans floors including sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming. Performs carpet spot cleaning and upholstery spot cleaning.
• Collects and disposes of general trash and biohazardous waste. Performs routine cleaning on general trash and biohazardous waste containers.
• Replenishes soap, sanitizer, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and other items.
• Maintains equipment, tools and storage areas in clean and orderly operating condition.
• Works with alarm systems to arm and disarm.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
