Job summary

Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital & Health Network in Tacoma is seeking an entry-level Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. You will help ensure a welcoming, clean environment for patients and families, with an evening shift and a full-time schedule that includes rotating weekends.

The role supports patient care by maintaining sanitary surfaces, coordinating tasks with care teams, and upholding a service-oriented, professional standard across the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous Housekeeper experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• You will perform cleaning duties and maintain environmental surfaces in an orderly and sanitary condition
• You will organize and complete required department tasks in coordination with services provided by patient care personnel and other support service departments
• You will communicate effectively with your team and nursing staff

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $20.63 - $31.41 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
