Job summary

Northridge Village is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to support our Assisted Living team. You will maintain the facility’s cleanliness, including residents’ apartments, common areas, and laundry duties, while following infection control and safety procedures.

The role emphasizes compassionate service to residents, collaboration with staff, and adherence to community policies. This full-time position offers a benefits package and a family-oriented culture focused on care for seniors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or helpful.
• Experience in housekeeping or care setting is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident apartments, bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living areas per schedules.
• Sanitize common areas, hallways, dining rooms, lounges, and restrooms.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and disinfect assigned areas.
• Empty trash and replace liners; restock supplies as needed.
• Follow infection prevention and PPE protocols; report hazards promptly.
• Maintain clean, organized spaces and assist with laundry as needed.

Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our Assisted Living T eam! This position is critical to our mission and is responsible for maintaining the facilitys general cleanliness to maintain a sanitary and infection-free condition.

Responsibilities :

• - Clean resident apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living areas, according to established schedules.
• - Clean and sanitize common areas, including hallways, dining rooms, activity spaces, lounges, offices, and public restrooms.
• - Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and disinfect all assigned areas.
• - Empty trash and replace liners in resident rooms and common areas.
• - Restock housekeeping supplies, paper products, and cleaning materials as needed.
• - Follow infection prevention and control procedures, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• - Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged equipment promptly.
• - Ensure resident apartments are clean, organized, and ready for new admissions or transfers.
• - Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from residents and leadership.
• - Maintain confidentiality and respect resident privacy at all times.
• - Build positive relationships with residents by greeting them warmly and interacting in a respectful, compassionate manner.
• - Follow all community policies, OSHA regulations, and safety procedures.
• - Assist with laundry duties as assigned, including washing, drying, folding, and delivering resident linens or personal laundry.
• - Properly dispose of biohazardous waste and soiled linens according to policy.
• - Attend required trainings, meetings, and in-service education.
• - Assist other departments during special events or community needs as requested.
• - Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in a clean and organized condition.
• - Perform other duties as assigned to support resident care and the overall operation of the community.

Qualifications

Qualifications : The Housekeeper should be a high school graduate or equivalent. Experience is helpful but not necessary.
