Arrow Senior Living in Cedar Falls, IA is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to keep resident spaces clean, comfortable, and welcoming. You will clean rooms, common areas, and resident living spaces to create a home-like environment that enhances everyday life.

Candidates must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to read and speak English. The job requires standing and lifting up to 25 pounds, with a health screening and background check.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older and able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Healthy with a physician health screening and TB test within required window.
• Criminal background check clearance required.

Position—Housekeeper

Position Type: Full-Time

Housekeeper pay range: $17 - $18.75 per hour

Shift Schedule—

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday

7:30am to 3:30pm

We are looking for someone (like you)

• Make Each Room a Home: By providing housekeeping services for residents, you make each area a comfortable, clean, and cozy place to live.
• Be the Master of the Mise enSceen? From behind the scenes, you ensure each area, from the lobby to the employee break room, is tidy and clean, with everything in its place.

What are we looking for?

• You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• You shall have a high school diploma, or equivalent.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with our Residents!
• You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
• You should be professional in appearance and conduct.
• You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds and push/pull a wheeled housekeeping cart.
• Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks. Good physical health shall be verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment. Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening.
• You must be criminally cleared.
