Job summary

The Henry Senior Living in Ballwin, MO is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to ensure residents' rooms are clean, comfortable, and welcoming. You will help maintain a tidy living environment and assist with daily cleaning duties across the facility.

Expect Mondays 8:30am–4:30pm and Fridays 11:00am–7:00pm. Requirements include being at least 18, a high school diploma or equivalent, English proficiency, and ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Health screening and background clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Read/write/understand/communicate in English at an 8th grade level or higher.
• Positive, energetic attitude toward residents.
• Professional appearance and conduct.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel and stoop all day.
• Ability to lift/move items up to 25 pounds and push a housekeeping cart.
• Healthy, pass health screening and TB test as required.
• Criminal background clearance.

Position Type: Part-Time

Our starting wage for Housekeeping is: $17 per hour!

Shift Schedule—

Mondays 8:30am to 4:30pm

Fridays 11:00am to 7:00pm

We are looking for someone (like you)

• Make Each Room a Home: By providing housekeeping services for residents, you make each area a comfortable, clean, and cozy place to live.
• Be the Master of the Mise en Scène: From behind the scenes, you ensure each area, from the lobby to the employee break room, is tidy and clean, with everything in its place.

What are we looking for?

• You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• You shall have a high school diploma, or equivalent.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with our Residents!
• You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
• You should be professional in appearance and conduct.
• You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds and push/pull a wheeled housekeeping cart.
• Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks. Good physical health shall be verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment. Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening.
• You must be criminally cleared.
