Job summary

Willow Valley Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

You will clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas, follow infection control guidelines, restock supplies, and report maintenance or safety issues promptly. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent related work experience.
• Experience in healthcare or hospitality is a plus, but training is provided.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Able to follow cleaning protocols and use cleaning supplies safely.
• Good communication and a team-oriented mindset.
• Respectful and compassionate attitude toward residents and coworkers.
• Able to stand, bend, walk for extended periods, and lift up to 30 pounds.

We are currently hiring a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, comfortable, and sanitary environment throughout our facility.

Position: Housekeeper

Location: Willow Valley Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation

What You’ll Do:

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas according to facility standards.
• Dust, mop, vacuum, disinfect surfaces, and empty trash regularly.
• Follow all infection control, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Report maintenance issues, lost items, or safety concerns promptly.
• Interact courteously with residents, families, and staff.

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior housekeeping experience in healthcare or hospitality is a plus, but not required—willing to train the right person!
