Job summary

YMCA of Northwest North Carolina is seeking a part-time Housekeeper at Wilkes Family YMCA in Wilkesboro, NC. Under the direction of the Facility Director, you will perform general housekeeping across the facility, including offices, common areas, locker rooms, bathrooms and the parking lot.

Duties include mopping, pressure washing, dusting, sweeping, restocking supplies, garbage removal, setting up meeting spaces and assisting with other projects as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and training.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping in offices, common areas, locker rooms, bathrooms and parking lot.
• Mop, pressure wash, dust, sweep, restock bathroom and locker room supplies, garbage removal, set up meeting spaces and assist with other projects as necessary.
• Attend staff meetings and coordinate with Program Directors to ensure facilities are clean and ready for our members.

Under direction of the Facility Director, the housekeeper will be responsible for general housekeeping duties in all areas of the facility including offices, common areas, locker rooms, bathrooms and parking lot. Duties include, but are not limited to, mopping, pressure washing, dusting, sweeping, refilling bathroom and locker room supplies, garbage removal, setting up meeting spaces and assisting with other projects as necessary. The Housekeeper will attend staff meetings when requested and coordinate with Program Directors to ensure facilities are clean and ready for our members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and training.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
