Job summary

Warsaw Meadows Care Center in Warsaw, IN is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our skilled nursing facility. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents while supporting housekeeping duties. This role requires reliability and physical stamina, with the ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods.

The position offers 20+ hours per week with every other weekend required. Experience in healthcare housekeeping is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, laundry, or maintenance preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas
• Operate industrial housekeeping and laundry equipment, including floor buffers, washers, and dryers
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is needed
• Follow all infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Assist with additional housekeeping duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, or related experience preferred
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning supplies and equipment
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Must be at least 18 years of age
