Job summary

Delaware Valley Residential Care in PA is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and guests. You will perform general cleaning, respond to housekeeping needs, and assist with making ready vacant apartments.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and is ideal for someone with prior housekeeping experience and a positive attitude who can work weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED.
• Six months housekeeping/environmental services experience preferred.
• Ability to promote a positive environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms, lounges, corridors, hallways, stairways, and other campus spaces.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping needs.
• Maintain superior housekeeping standards in all residential areas.
• Make-ready vacant resident apartments.
• Maintain a professional courteous manner with residents, vendors, contractors, and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the cleaning of restrooms, lounges, corridors, hallways, stairways, and other workspaces of the campus
• Respond promptly to all housekeeping needs
• Ensure superior housekeeping standards in all residential areas
• Complete make-ready process of vacant resident apartments
• Maintain a professional courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED, required
• 6 months experience in Housekeeping/Environmental Services, preferred
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and promote a positive environment for both team members and participants
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Proven track record of timeliness and accountability
