Job summary

Regency Pacific Management is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for Kauai Care Center in Waimea, Kaua'i. You will maintain residents' rooms and common areas, follow cleaning schedules, and coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing staff in a skilled nursing environment.

Weekend rotation is required. You will communicate with residents and families while upholding dignity, privacy, independence, and a home-like environment, following sanitary and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Have compassion and interest in working with the senior population.

Responsibilities

• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts to supply storage areas, keeping each tidy.
• Disinfect equipment and surfaces using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and empty wastebaskets to meet health standards
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment
• Relate and communicate with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
