Job summary

Covenant Woods is seeking a full-time housekeeper in Virginia to maintain cleanliness across cottages, apartments, assisted living areas and healthcare units. You will perform day-to-day cleaning in designated areas with minimal supervision, following established methods and using cleaning supplies and equipment.

The role requires good communication, familiarity with cleaning equipment, and physical stamina to stand/walk most of the day.

Qualifications

• Must be a good communicator.
• Knowledge of housekeeping methods and the use and care of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Knowledgeable in the use of floor cleaning equipment, washer and dryer machines desired.
• One year of housekeeping experience preferred.
• Work requires standing and walking for most or all of the workday.
• Stooping, kneeling, sitting, crouching, crawling, twisting, and reaching are required frequently.
• Must be able to lift and carry an average of 10 pounds up to maximum of 20 pounds; push or pull an average of 15 pounds up to a maximum of 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day cleaning in designated areas.
