Job summary

Sky Ranch in Van, TX is seeking a housekeeping professional to maintain clean facilities across offices, cabins, and public restrooms. You will perform daily cleaning tasks, organize supplies, and report progress to supervision to ensure a welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Ideal candidates have 0–3 years in housekeeping, basic high school diploma, and knowledge of standard cleaning procedures. The role emphasizes physical effort, teamwork, and adherence to Sky Ranch's safety policies.

Qualifications

• Zero to three years' experience in housekeeping.
• Knowledge of workplace housekeeping procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team member or alone to complete all scheduled tasks.
• Clean all assigned offices, cabins, and/or public restrooms, as well as sweeping/mopping and/or vacuuming floors, picking up trash, restocking/refilling supplies.
• Organize supplies for the day.
• Report to supervisor any uncompleted tasks.
• Turn in all lost and found items to designated areas in Guest Registrations or School Programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION

• Zero to three years' experience in housekeeping.

KNOWLEDGE

EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Some physical effort required.
• Ability to use up to 20 pounds of force routinely, and/or up to 40 pounds of force occasionally to move objects.
• Will involve much physical effort, including bending, stooping, climbing ladders/bunks, carrying supplies.
• Ability to grasp, push, pull, carry or otherwise manipulate objects; ability to perform tasks requiring action of muscles or groups of muscles and foot and/or hand-eye coordination including: wiping, mopping, and sweeping.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Works indoors mostly with some exposure to seasonal weather elements.
