Job summary

Drury Hotels is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time housekeepers at the Grove City property. You will keep guest rooms clean, make beds, and assist with basic hotel tasks while delivering friendly service. Starting pay is $17 an hour with incentives, medical/dental/vision benefits, and a company-matched 401(k).

Qualifications

• No previous cleaning experience required.
• Requires knowledge and mental ability equivalent to completion of 2 years of high school.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum rooms, change linens, and clean bathrooms to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Maintain a clean and positive environment for guests and team members.
• Assist guests by providing linens, towels, amenities, or information upon request.
• Help with laundry and cleaning of public areas when needed.

What you will do

In this role, you’ll play a major role in creating memorable moments for business travelers and families on vacation. FUNCIONES BÁSICAS Y TAREAS LABORALES

• Realiza una variedad de servicios de limpieza del hotel para mantener limpias las habitaciones de los huéspedes de acuerdo con las normas establecidas.
• Inspecciona visualmente las habitaciones para ayudar a identificar los elementos de mantenimiento necesarios.
• Ayuda a los huéspedes siempre que sea posible proporcionando ropa de cama, toallas, comodidades, o información que soliciten.
• Se te puede pedir que ayude en la lavandería/ limpiar los espacios públicos cuando sea necesario.

REQUISITOS MENTALES Y FÍSICOS

• REQUIERE capacidad para empujar, pasar la aspiradora, alcanzar, estirarse, y agacharse en las actividades diarias de trabajo.
• REQUIERE la capacidad de levantar 25 – 35 libras de forma intermitente durante la jornada laboral.

EDUCACIÓN

• Requiere conocimientos, habilidades, y destrezas mentales equivalentes a la finalización de 2 años de escuela secundaria.

EXPERIENCIA

• La experiencia previa en la limpieza es útil pero no necesaria.
