Job summary

Land O’Lakes, Inc. is hiring a Housekeeper for its Purina Animal Nutrition manufacturing team in the United States. The role focuses on cleaning and upkeep of buildings, facilities, and grounds to support safe, high-quality production.

You will follow safety practices, meet deadlines, and work well in a fast-paced environment. Shift is 1st shift, 6:30am–3pm, with weekends/overtime as needed. Basic computer and math skills are helpful to log tasks and complete standard procedures.

Qualifications

• 1 year of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful.

Job description

Housekeeper

Pay: $24.25 per hour
Shift & Working Hours: 1st Shift; 6:30am-3pm

Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed.

In this role, you’ll be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing housekeeping to ensure our plants can add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You’ll be responsible for cleaning and continual upkeep of the buildings, facilities, and grounds. Join our team to become part of a member-owned co-op that is Rooted In Tomorrow.

This role is part of our Purina Animal Nutrition business who serves producers and animal owners throughout the United States. We innovate the nutrition products and practices that unlock the full potential of every animal for a healthier, more productive life.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
