Berlin Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking reliable Housekeepers to join our caring team in Barre, VT. You will maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff as part of daily housekeeping duties.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms and bathrooms, sanitizing surfaces, handling waste, restocking supplies, and following safety and infection-control procedures. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our dedicated team at Berlin Health & Rehabilitation Center! As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dry mop, and wet mop resident rooms
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, furniture, and equipment
• Empty trash receptacles and properly dispose of waste
• Clean staff dining areas, stairwells, hallways, and other assigned spaces
• Vacuum carpets and floor surfaces
• Restock housekeeping supplies as needed
• Perform occasional light maintenance duties
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to follow departmental safety policies and procedures
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required
• Reliable, hardworking, and committed to maintaining high cleanliness standards
