Job summary

Heritage at The Plains, a Sonida Senior Living community in Oneonta, NY, is seeking a housekeeper to support independent living, assisted living and memory care residents. You will perform housekeeping, laundry and related tasks with focus on safety and service quality.

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to perform housekeeping tasks and assist residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory of chemicals, supplies and equipment for housekeeping tasks.
• Familiarize with cleaning schedules for Residents’ apartments and common areas.
• Perform housekeeping, janitorial tasks, and minor repairs as assigned.
• Log and track repair requests, ensuring timely completion.
• Provide laundry services as needed and/or directed.

Housekeeper Responsibilities include:

• Monitors inventory of chemicals, supplies and equipment needed for laundry and housekeeping tasks.
• Familiarizes self with cleaning schedules of Residents’ apartments and common areas to assure completion of housekeeping tasks.
• Performs housekeeping, janitorial tasks, and minor repairs as assigned.
• Assures that other janitorial and repair requests are properly logged and monitors their completion.
• Provides laundry services as needed and/or directed.

• Have experience in senior living or similar environment.
• Enjoy providing exceptional customer service and care to our senior residents.
