Job summary

The Hampton Inn – Grand Island, NE is looking for a friendly Housekeeper to join our team. You will clean guest rooms to ensure a comfortable stay, change linens, restock supplies, and respond promptly to guest requests with a courteous attitude. Daytime hours are guaranteed, and the role involves safety procedures and teamwork.

Experience is helpful but not required. We offer opportunities to work weekends and some holidays, with a supportive team and employee hotel rates.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms as assigned, including changing bed and bath linens, removing trash and debris, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart to maximize efficiency.
• Assist with laundry as needed, including sorting, loading and unloading washers and dryers, folding, storing, and delivering linens to storage areas.
• Organize storage areas to maintain the quality of supplies and maximize efficiency.
• Follow all hotel safety and security procedures to help maintain a safe environment for employees and guests.
• Perform other duties as requested.
