Arcis Golf is seeking a Porter at our private club to maintain cleanliness, safety, and presentation of facilities. The Porter supports daily housekeeping and basic maintenance tasks to ensure a welcoming environment for members, guests, and staff.

This part-time position offers flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays to fit club operations. Previous housekeeping or facilities experience is preferred, with attention to detail and reliability essential.

Qualifications

• Prev housekeeping, janitorial, or facilities experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping duties: maintain cleanliness of clubhouse areas including locker rooms, restrooms, dining areas, and halls.
• Maintenance support: perform basic repairs and equipment setup; report issues promptly.
• Operational support: ensure standards of cleanliness, respond to requests, assist with events setup/breakdown.

Position Summary

The Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the club’s facilities. This role supports daily housekeeping operations while assisting with basic maintenance tasks to ensure a high standard of presentation and functionality throughout the club. The Porter plays an important role in creating a welcoming and well‑maintained environment for members, guests, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Housekeeping Duties Maintain cleanliness of all clubhouse areas including locker rooms, restrooms, dining areas, hallways, offices, and common spaces. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces regularly. Clean windows, mirrors, fixtures, and furniture. Maintain cleanliness of outdoor patios, entryways, and walkways.
• Maintenance Support Perform basic maintenance tasks such as light bulb replacement, minor repairs, and equipment setup. Assist with facility inspections and report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly. Help with room setups and breakdowns for club events and activities. Maintain storage areas, maintenance closets, and cleaning equipment. Assist grounds or maintenance staff when needed.
• Operational Support Ensure the facility meets the club’s standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times. Respond promptly to housekeeping or maintenance requests from management or staff. Follow all safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Support special events with setup, cleanup, and facility readiness.

Qualifications

Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or facilities experience prefered. Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies. Ability to perform minor maintenance tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40–50 lbs regularly. Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and operate cleaning equipment. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.

Work Schedule

Part-time position available. Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on club operations.
