Job summary

Crestline Hotels & Resorts is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain guest rooms and common areas in a clean, orderly condition. You will perform cleaning duties such as making beds, replenishing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking supplies to meet health standards and guest expectations.

Training is provided; no prior experience required, and High School education is optional. This on-site role offers opportunities for career progression along the housekeeping leadership path

Responsibilities

• Carry linens, towels, and supplies using wheeled carts.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly.
• Replenish supplies such as glasses, linens, and bathroom items.
• Keep storage areas and carts clean and organized.
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
• Vacuum rugs, carpets, and upholstery; clean draperies.
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork as needed.
• Hang draperies and dust blinds.
• Protect hotel property and report damage or theft.
• Remove debris from driveways, garages, and pool areas.
• Sort and store clean linens in linen closets.

Overview:

The Housekeeper will perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness of guest's rooms in an orderly manner. Duties may include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met.
• Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items.
• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers.
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
• Hang draperies and dust window blinds.
• Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
• Remove debris from driveways, garages, and swimming pool areas.
• Sort, count, and mark clean linens and store them in linen closets.
